Our treats and chews are air-dried and an appropriate complement to a fresh food or a dry food diet, and there may be some adjustment period when first introducing our fresh treats and chews, including, but not limited to, digestive upset or dental damage. Real Labs, Inc. recommends that you discuss your companion animal's health and diet with your veterinarian. We are not veterinarians and cannot diagnose your companion animals or prescribe a diet or a supplement for them. Our products offered for sale on this website carry no guarantees. We recommend that you handle fresh meat for animal companions the same way you would handle raw meat for yourself. Both kibble and raw diets have been found to contain human and canine pathogens, which usually only pose a serious human risk to the immunocompromised, the elderly, and young children. This is an important consideration if you are feeding a raw diet and have people in these risk groups living in your home. These pathogens may be shed in dog stools and can be contracted by humans orally. Real Labs, Inc. strongly recommends not eating feces (poo) of your companion animal and washing your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water, after feeding and cleaning up after your companion animal.
