How do I pause my box?

You can pause your Real Dog Box subscription up to 3 months at a time. You can message us at help@real.dog or text 858-348-5954 or you can pause from your dashboard.

You must pause at least 24 hours in advance to stop the upcoming payment.

Please note that Wellness Memberships cannot be paused.

Pausing your subscription will not cancel your subscription. It will automatically renew once the pause period ends. If you would like to cancel please read more here.

Your subscription is not paused until you see the date change in your dashboard (if you paused it yourself) or if you receive confirmation from a team member (if you message us).


From your dashboard, click "dogs" on the left-hand side

Click the pencil icon for the subscription you'd like to pause

At the bottom of the page click "subscription settings"

Select how many months you would like to pause your box and click "pause subscription"
